Our work supporting people, places, climate and nature
We are the collective voice for England’s National Park Authorities
England’s National Parks represent our finest landscapes, famed for their spectacular beauty, varied wildlife and rich cultural heritage.
National Parks England is the collective voice for English National Park Authorities, helping National Parks to achieve our purposes through influencing policy.
How we make change
Speaking as one voice
We recognise and value the strength in speaking as one voice, representing the combined views of National Park Authorities, drawing on the expertise of our people.
Bringing experts together
We bring practitioners from National Parks together with policy makers to build a strong evidence base, better policy and enhanced support (financial and other) for National Parks as central to overcoming the nature, biodiversity and public health challenges our country faces.
For nature and people
We look to deliver integrated solutions that make our National Parks better for the environment and for people, whether they are from local communities or are visitors.
Our ambition…
is that the scale and quality of support for National Parks grows.
We want all National Parks to have the ambition, resources and opportunities to lead on providing access to green spaces for the nation; helping to tackle the challenges of climate change and declining biodiversity; supporting local communities; and improving our health and wellbeing.
